Can I Get a Wix Website Redesign Service in the US? (2026)

Can I Get a Wix Website Redesign Service in the US? title over the AmNav homepage, a Wix site redesigned by Wix Expert Studio.

Maybe your Wix site went up a few years ago and the business kept moving without it. You’ve added services, changed your prices, and figured out who your best customers are. The website still describes the business you had on launch day, and you’ve started adding a little apology when you send people to it.

That’s one of the most common reasons people get in touch with us, and it’s a very fixable spot to be in. A recent example from our portfolio is AmNav, a marine and harbor services company in the San Francisco Bay Area. We redesigned their site and moved it from WordPress to Wix in the same project, so the new design and the new platform launched together.

This post covers how to tell when a site needs a full redesign, what one costs, how the work runs from first call to launch, and what you get from hiring a team in the US.

Can you hire a US-based team to redesign your Wix site?

Yes. Certified Wix partners all over the country redesign Wix sites, and the easiest place to find them is the Wix Marketplace, Wix’s own directory of partners. Each profile lists the services a partner offers, with reviews and completed-project counts you can read before you reach out.

Not everyone gets a Marketplace listing. Wix only admits partners who have built up a track record through its Partner Program, and our guide to choosing a Wix designer explains the levels and what to check on a profile.

We’re one of those partners. Wix Expert Studio is headquartered in Sedona, Arizona, with offices in Corona, California and Tampa, Florida, and we work with clients nationwide. Website redesign is one of the services on our Marketplace profile, where we hold a 5.0 rating across 412 reviews as of October 2026. Our team of six designs and builds everything in-house. We don’t outsource, so the people on your kickoff call are the people doing the work.

Plenty of skilled Wix designers work outside the US, and some of them do excellent redesigns. If a US team matters to you, ask where the designers themselves are based. A company’s listed address and the place the work gets done aren’t always the same.

How do I know my Wix site needs a redesign?

Start with what the site is doing for your business. When GoodFirms surveyed 200+ web design companies, the top signs that a site needs a redesign were a low conversion rate, a high bounce rate and a need for better user experience. A layout that breaks on phones, an outdated look and slipping search rankings rounded out the list.

Those problems show up as visitors leaving. In the same survey, 73.1% of designers named a non-responsive layout as a top reason people abandon a site, and 61.5% pointed to confusing navigation. An outdated design made the list too, at 38.5%. It adds up, because your website often gets the first word: 81% of shoppers research online before they buy (Invoca data, via Wix).

Netguru’s website redesign guide draws a useful line here. If your site’s structure still works and visitors aren’t getting lost, a lighter refresh is usually enough. A full redesign makes sense when the navigation and the paths to buying, booking or calling are what’s broken. In practice that looks like a menu that no longer matches what you sell, key pages that are missing or buried, and a design that can’t stretch to fit what the business has become.

If the structure is fine and the trouble is a cluttered template, a messy phone view or a few slow pages, a smaller fix usually gets you there for less. Our post on fixing up a Wix template covers those problems, along with our Wix Rescue service.

One test you can run today: open your site on your phone, note how long it takes before you can use it, then try to book, buy or contact yourself. If you get frustrated partway through, your customers do too. (If you give up before the contact form loads, we’d say the test is over.)

What does a Wix redesign cost?

Our Wix redesigns start at $2,000, at a fixed price we agree on before any work begins. Where a project lands above that depends on how much of your current site stays and how much changes. For the wider market, from freelancers to large agencies, see our 2026 Wix website cost guide.

A redesign has a cost lever a brand-new site doesn’t: what you already have. Pages, copy and photos that still work can be restyled and kept. Keeping your current page structure also means fewer pages to rebuild and fewer page addresses to change.

Costs climb when:

  • The page map itself changes, with new sections, merged pages or a new menu

  • You add a store, bookings or member areas

  • The copy gets rewritten from scratch

  • The site moves to Wix Studio at the same time (our Studio vs classic Editor comparison explains when that’s worth it)

Moving from another platform during the redesign adds migration work on top, which is how the AmNav project ran. Either way, you’ll have the scope and the price in writing before kickoff.

What happens during a Wix redesign?

Most of our redesigns follow the same six steps, from a free evaluation to a walkthrough of the finished site. The table shows what happens at each step and what we’ll need from you, since your part often sets the pace.

Step

What happens

What we need from you

1. Evaluation

We review your current site and come back with what’s holding it back, a scope and a fixed price

Your site’s link and what you want it to do better

2. Audit and goals

We note which pages bring in traffic and leads now, and agree on what the new site has to do, like calls, bookings or sales

Access to your Wix site and any analytics you have

3. Page map

We plan the menu and page list around how your customers shop

Sign-off on the page list

4. Design

Homepage first, then key pages, designed for phones and desktops together

Feedback on each page from one decision-maker

5. Build

We build the pages, connect your forms and apps, and check every page on a phone

New photos, copy and logins for any connected tools

6. Launch and walkthrough

We publish the new site, then show you where everything lives so you can make small changes yourself

About an hour for the walkthrough

Step 2 is the one we’d never skip. A redesign that looks better but loses the page your best leads come from is a step backward, so we write down what’s working before we change anything.

Before launch, any page whose address changed gets a 301 redirect pointing to its new home, so the Google traffic you’ve already built follows you to the new design.

Clients who have their photos and copy ready at step 1 tend to finish at the short end of the timeline. In our experience, slow feedback rounds are what usually stretch a redesign, so one decision-maker and a quick reply go a long way.

Does it matter if your redesign team is in the US?

For design talent, not much. Skilled Wix designers work all over the world. Location matters more for the day-to-day: overlapping business hours, phone calls in place of overnight email threads, and a company you can look up before you sign.

Time zones show up fast in a redesign. Feedback rounds, launch day and the typo someone spots the next morning all move quicker when your designer’s workday overlaps yours. With offices in Arizona, California and Florida, our working day overlaps yours whichever coast you’re on.

Accountability is the other half. A US agency with named people, real offices and a public review history is easy to check before you commit, and easy to reach afterward. Whoever you’re considering, us included, run them through the questions in our hiring guide linked above.

If you’d like to know who you’d hear from here: Rebecca leads design and client work, Ron is our Wix Studio designer, and Jeff, our lead developer, handles custom code and platform moves.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How long does a Wix redesign take?

A: Most of ours take two to six weeks. A redesign in the classic Editor usually runs about 30 business days, and a larger Wix Studio project can take up to 60. For comparison, GoodFirms found the average professional web design project takes about two months. Having photos, copy and logins ready at kickoff is the easiest way to stay at the short end.

Q: Can a Wix redesign be done fully remotely?

A: Yes. Wix runs in the browser, so you invite us into your site as a collaborator and keep ownership of the account, plan and domain. Our hiring guide shows how to set that up. Calls happen by phone or video, and you can review designs from anywhere. We work with clients across the country, and most never need to visit an office.

Q: What should I have ready before a redesign starts?

A: Access to your Wix account (an invite is enough), your domain login if it’s registered somewhere else, the photos and logo you want to use, and notes on anything in your copy that’s out of date. Two or three websites you like help us understand your taste quickly. Most of all, pick one person to sign off on feedback, since that keeps every round moving.

Q: How often should a business redesign its website?

A: There’s no set schedule. Netguru suggests redesigning when two or more warning signs show up together, such as falling conversions, a poor mobile experience or navigation that no longer fits, and treats an outdated look on its own as the weakest reason. Between redesigns, smaller updates to photos, copy and individual pages keep a site current for years.

Want a second opinion on your site?

If you’re not sure whether your site needs a redesign, a smaller fix or nothing at all, our free evaluation sorts that out. Tell us what’s bugging you about your website and we’ll reply with a plan and a fixed price. You can also call 928-821-6780 and talk it through with someone in Arizona, California or Florida.
